About me

I am Julio Merino, a professional photographer specializing in editorial and portrait photography, with a strong background in lighting, post-production, and graphic design. My work focuses on capturing the essence of each person, product, or concept, creating impactful images that tell stories and strengthen visual identities.

My academic training includes two years of studies in Lighting, Image Capture, and Processing in Seville, where I refined my skills in lighting, composition, and photographic direction. Later, I studied Graphic Design in Cádiz with the goal of deepening my knowledge of post-production and advanced editing—key areas in my workflow. Since I couldn't find a specialized postgraduate program in Andalusia, I chose this path as the most cost-effective and aligned with my professional goals.

Currently, in addition to my work in editorial and portrait photography, I am expanding my focus towards product photography and exploring 3D design as an innovative tool for creating commercial and artistic imagery. I am passionate about the fusion of photography, design, and technology, always seeking new ways of visual expression for brands, editorials, and creative projects.
